Kandji Library Item → Custom Profile. JSON-shaped, a single document containing both the force-install and managed-config stanzas.
Generate your profile first: App → Settings → MDM → Kandji downloads inviolet-extension.kandji.json with your org_id, enrollment_token, and config_signature already substituted. See the MDM overview for what the payload contains.

Prerequisites

  • Kandji administrator access
  • The generated inviolet-extension.kandji.json from Settings → MDM
  • A Blueprint covering the target Macs

1. Add a Custom Profile

In Kandji: Library → Add New → Custom Profile.

2. Upload the generated profile

Upload inviolet-extension.kandji.json. Both stanzas are already included:
  • Force-installExtensionInstallForcelist under com.google.Chrome.
  • Managed config — the org.inviolet.extension payload under com.google.Chrome.extensions.<inviolet-extension-id>.
No hand-editing is required — the placeholders were substituted at download.

3. Assign to a Blueprint

Assign the Library Item to a Blueprint covering the target Macs.

4. Activate + verify

Activate the item — Kandji deploys it on the next agent check-in. On a target Mac, open chrome://policy/ to confirm both entries applied. The extension then enrolls into your tenant.
